Free live music sessions start at Southsea Bandstand next month with a
performance by the Mike Sanchez Band plus The Mustangs on Bank Holiday Monday
May 30. This rock & roll spectacular runs from 7pm until 10pm. Thereafter the
free concerts will be every Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm. The bandstand is
at West Battery just behind the D-Day Museum, where there is plenty of parking.

Winchester this month.

The homely Platform Tavern down by Southampton Town Quay is
well-known for regular evening live music sessions, but they also offer a chance
to enjoy good food and music on Sunday lunchtimes. Their Sunday Soul Roast is
served from 12 noon to 8pm featuring home cooked roast dinners for £7.95
including dessert.
Free live music between 1.30pm – 4.30pm features the following artists in April:

Sun 24 - Freddy Freeloader - Instrumental trad jazz

After selling out last year, Bee Gees Fever are returning to The
Point at Eastleigh supported by local soft rock covers band Sticklebach on April
30. Bee Gees Fever are acclaimed as the ultimate Bee Gees Tribute band not only
in the UK but also Europe. They received such a phenomenal response last year
they came back by popular demand.

ISLE OF WIGHT JAZZ DIVAS FESTIVAL -

Isle of Wight Jazz Divas Festival is being held at Ventnor from Friday April 8
to Sunday April 10. There is an international lineup with the accent on women in
jazz, and amongst the performers are the great Jacqui Dankworth, the Annie
Whitehead Quintet, the Andrea Vicari Trio with Mornington Lockett, Sue Hawker
and Rob Koral, Julia Farino and The Beachcombers, The Borvil Sisters and many
