PLAYING OUT LOUD! Eastleigh will be treated to the sounds of Neil Diamond on Saturday August 5 in aid of The Mayor of Eastleigh’s Charity Appeal. Neil Diamond has returned to the top of the music charts with his new album "12 songs" and this August sees "Forever in Blue Jeans" the Neil Diamond Tribute show come to The Point Theatre in Eastleigh with performer Robert Leslie reliving the timeless hits of the megastar. Organiser Kim Garner said, "We are very lucky to have secured Robert Leslie to perform for us as he is an internationally renowned performer in his own right having performed and won Stars In Their Eyes and other shows around the world covering Australia, Europe and America. I’m sure the people of Eastleigh will not want to miss this chance to sing along to great tunes as “Song Sung Blue,” “Love On The Rocks” and Sweet Caroline." Charities chosen by the Mayor, Councillor Peter Wall, include AAIR (Asthma, Allerger, Inflamation and Research) Eastleigh Young Carers’ Project and the QE11 Activities Centre. Tickets are priced at £11/£9 concessions. Contact the box office on 02380 652333, www.thepoint-online.co.uk and book your tickets now.
