PLAYING OUT LOUD!
NEWS

‘Hog The Limelight’ is an initiative by Hampshire County Council which puts
entertainment in village halls all over Hampshire from September to April.
Organised by the County’s Arts Service, there’s a strong musical presence
amongst the many events, but also childrens entertainment and workshops, adult
workshops, theatrical presentations, cabaret and comedy, talks and dance and art
productions.
Amongst the musical delights around Hampshire are Mazaika, a gypsy
music troupe, The Barcodes, jazz and blues with soul and top UK guitarist Gordon
Giltrap. For full details visit the Couty’s interactive website
www.hogthelimelight.co.uk where you can also sample music and find out
more about the performers and artists.
Don't miss our completely revised
Food & Things section. A list of 160 restaurants, pubs, wine bars, bistros,
hotels and cafes that we have eaten in and liked. Set out geographically, we
hope it will help you find a decent place to
eat. Please mention Playing Out Loud if you visit any of the establishments
listed!
