An online monthly guide to live music in the South.     The principal aim is to tell you what's on and where, whether it's jazz, rock, pop, blues, country, folk, reggae or classical. One thing you won't find here is disco, karaoke or clubbing, but we are quite happy to accept advertisements from venues operating in this area.     Real music is what we are celebrating in PLAYING OUT LOUD! and we hope to extend the website beyond just listings to make it a forum for local musicians and music lovers, with free ads, letters columns, gig reviews, competitions, star interviews, quizzes, plus links to other websites.     Input from music lovers out there is welcome, whether it is to keep us up to date with gossip on the music scene, gig information, requests, suggestions, photographs or whatever.     PLAYING OUT LOUD! is not aimed at any particular age group - anyone with a pulse will hopefully be interested whether they are 5 or 105.
